As part of its 70th anniversary celebration, the American Craft Council invited Bay Area bakers to create confections based on the work of some of the Council's artists. Source: The Bay Citizen (http://s.tt/12UCO) St. Jude Children's Hospital It is quite an honor for Canine Confections to be chosen for their Christmas catalog. We worked closely with them to design a custom label featuring art work contributed by the kids at St. Jude. We then designed custom shaped treats suggest by their art work. A fun project that began our relationship with St. Jude, and has gone on with us designing mini Halloween dog treats for them and more unique Christmas dog biscuits for them this year. Gump's - San Francisco ![]() Elegant and renown for their fabulous gift selection, they came to us for an equally elegant dog treat. We designed an intricate and delicate assortment of our most beautiful Canine Confections. It was a perfect fit, and a win win for everyone. Le Beastro - Pier 39, San Francisco A favorite, and not to be missed, gift shop for tourists. Le Bistro contacted us wanting a dog treat that represented something special and memorable about San Francisco. While the City abounds with unique landmarks, finding just the right one was a challenge. Finally, we created a delectable and unforgettable San Francisco cable car. A big hit with the tourists and an even bigger hit with the dogs. Lexus Luxury car, luxury dog treat, seemed a good idea to a Lexus dealership. Lexus had noticed that many of their customers brought their dogs with them, and while they had many luxury items for their customers they had nothing for their customers canine companions. So they reached out to us to meet that need. We designed a delicious dog treat, each imprinted by hand with a genuine Lexus logo. War Dog Association One of the original Canine Confections projects was to raise awareness about military war dogs. Recently an article was written by Military.com about their efforts to inform the public of the role and needs of canines in service to our country. So we decided to custom bake a line of military war dogs which supports the War Dog Association and the dogs themselves. Others...
